- Student requests the course in the registration system. (Course Request – CR)
- This occurs in FLVS Master Admission and Registration System which connects to the Virtual School Administration (VSA). This process can take up to 24 hours.
- Guidance does not approve the course (Course Request Incomplete – CRI)
- Guidance approves the course (Course Request Complete – CRC)
- This occurs in Virtual School Administration (VSA). This process is immediate.
- Course sits in CRC without placement (Never Assigned - NAs), very rarely happens
- MDVS staff place the student with a teacher (Classroom Assigned – CA)
- This occurs in Virtual School Administration (VSA) and then between 6-24 hours the student is added to the course in Educator.
- Student doesn’t return welcome call and teacher changes the status using the Action feature on the teacher dashboard (Never Activated NAc)
- Instructor has the welcome call and the student is Activated (Active – A)
- Student has 28 days to meet grace period which is 20% of the course and a passing grade (60% or above).
- Student is dropped due to not meeting grace period (Withdrawn – W)
- Student stops working after grace period and teacher halts student progress (Contact Instructor – CI)
- Within 6 – 24 hours Educator will suspend the student from working until you place back in Active status
- Student stops working after grace period and teacher withdraws student
- If passing (Withdrawn Passing – WP)
- If failing (Withdrawn Failing – WF)
- Student completes the course, but still wants access to it as they study for their EOC (Pending Exam – PE)
- Student completes the course (Complete – C)
- Student has 28 days to meet grace period which is 20% of the course and a passing grade (60% or above).
